Saudi F-15S Jet Crashed Due To Technical Fault, Pilots Ejected: Defence Ministry

RIYADH, Nov 8 (NNN-SPA) – A Saudi Air Force F-15S fighter jet, crashed due to a technical fault, during a routine training mission on Sunday evening, the Ministry of Defence reported, yesterday.

The ministry’s spokesman, Turki Al-Malki, said, the incident occurred on Sunday evening at the King Abdulaziz Air Base training area, in the kingdom’s Eastern Province.

The aircrew of two officers survived the incident after ejection, the spokesman added.

No injuries nor ground damage were recorded.

Investigation into the incident is underway.

OIC condemns 'incitement campaign' against Qatar for hosting FIFA World Cup

The official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the two ministers had signed a cooperation agreement between the two countries. Their meeting has come on the occasion of the fourth edition of the Political and Foreign Affairs Committee under the China-Saudi High-Level Joint Committee.

Ex treasury secretary Mnuchin says U.S. in recession, will continue

RIYADH, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Former U.S. treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin said on Wednesday he believed the United States was in a recession and said this would continue.

Speaking at Riyadh's flagship investment conference FII, he said: "I think we'll probably see a peak of 4.5% 10-year rates."

"I think you are going to see inflation in the U.S. begin to come under control, it will probably be a two-year period," he added.

He said the U.S. and China must learn to co-exist. He added that the Middle East's economic issues need to be dealt with regionally.
