India: Prof Kala instructs for cleanliness on medical college hospital wards

Hallet Hospital

Kanpur: Expressing intense displeasure with the Chief Medical Officer RK Maurya, the Hallet Hospital Principal Prof Sanjay Kala appeared upset with the irregularities in the medical college hospital. He instructed him to take strict action.

The principal's surprise inspection caused a stir on the hospital campus. He had inspected the hospital on Wednesday night and further on Thursday morning also.

Piles of garbage lying out of Emergency Wing irked him intensely. He was there for two hours and learnt of the poor conditions.

He along with EMO Dr Anurag Rajoria checked the bags of many people present in the emergency.

He also talked to the JR and Nursing staff posted in Emergency.

Making surprise inspections in other Wards he questioned people roaming unnecessarily on the hospital premises.

When he came out of Emergency to see the pile of garbage, he said that dirt will not be tolerated at all.

Special care should be taken for cleanliness on the hospital premises. Action will be taken for negligence.

Recently, news of agents colluding at GSVM Medical College to send patients to private hospitals came out. The involvement of some junior doctors was allegedly found in this.
