Kanpur: Several bike riders had faced penalty while driving dangerously on Ganga Barrage road here on Tuesday.
The SP (Traffic) Basant Lal along with the team conducted a drive against stunting bikers. This campaign covered Rawatpur, Phoolbagh, Bada Chauraha, Narona crossing, Kalyanpur and others.
Driving without wearing a helmet also brought penalty to the scooty and motorcycle drivers.
Checking of the staff posted on the different crossing was also carried. Expressing dismay at the absence of TSI on Company Bagh crossing, the SP traffic ordered absent mark from the duty. Along with it, lax staff posted on Rocket Tiraha got a reprimand.
