India: Weather reports hint at risk of dehydration & heatstroke

Kanpur: Thursday's weather reports indicate at hazy sunshine and very hot; the danger of dehydration and heatstroke if one happens to hang around outdoor for extended lengths of running time.

The minimum temperature after 1 p.m. dangles around 21° Celsius in Jajmau.

The hotness restricts one to go out during noontime. Not only the hot sun hampers  the body's movement but it reduces bodily energy also.

Why should one go out if the ultimate fear of heatstroke looms large upon us? The intensity of the summer season increases day after day.

Though there are a group of people who still feel comparatively lesser hotness of the summer. They add that this will surge more in April starting from the next day.

We have had to experience the hot weather for at least eight months out of a full long calendar year, said one old dweller of Jajmau.

As usual, the power cuts have begun to show its traditional tendency. The rising consumption during summer days lowers the capacity of transformers, feel the consumers.

As a result, the consumers have to bear the brunt of power-tripping at any time.

They slowly become accustomed to it.The battery enabled stabiliser helps us drag the lives anyhow, maintain several men.
