India: Schools conduct online classes due to showers on Thursday

Kanpur: Whether it is the city areas or Jajmau area or other adjoining regions, rains has dampened every corners. It remains the third day on Thursday that the residents have been enduring the showers.

At about 2.30 the rains has been a little bit slow but it again starts. The cloudy sky has caused darkness in Jajmau area. Bikers are hesitating to runn on the roads. Though waterlogging remains every where.

In the meantime, the MeT department said that along with rain, there will be strong gusts of wind at a speed of 87 Kms per hour.

There is also anxiety on the part of the farmers who are worried about the damage to the paddy crop. It is falling due to the wind speed, farmers vent.

Other districts where heavy rainfall is predicted are Amethi, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, kilometres Kanpur Dehat, Auraiya, Etawah, Kannauj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Badaun, Kasganj, Etah, Mathura, Aligarh and Noida, as the weather reports predicted.

A weather official said that the shortfall is possible possibly to be compensated during September, according to the reports.
