Kanpur: Given the forthcoming Eid ul Azha prayer the religious heads have appealed to the Muslims to offer special prayer as per guidelines of the state government.
However, Sahar Qazi Mushtaq Ahmad Mushahidi said the Muslims should offer Eid prayers by the numbers fixed by the district administration.
In the meantime, it has come to the notice that members of Eidgah Management Committee and Qazi Abdul Quddoos Hadi had met the police commissioner lately.
Preparations for the special Eid prayers have been going on, it is also learnt.
Devotees have been asked to offer the prayer in total adherence to Covid-19 strict guidelines, said Sahar Qazi adding that cooperation of one and all are required to defeat the eruption of the third wave.
