KANPUR: What exactly caused the clash among the students of the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology students here on Monday evening? Arguments among junior and senior students led to their bloody battle.
As many as 12 students injured in the fight. There was stone pelting, smashing of window panes and kick punching continued. The senior students of Tilak Hostel and junior students of Karpuri Hostel came to gory blows.
On receiving information the police force from different police stations including Nawabganj PS reached the campus. Injured students were first sent to the hospital for the required treatment.
Taking note of the situation the University Vice-chancellor issued an order for vacating the hostels. Police personnel were deployed on the campus.
