Pakistan to issue multiple, on-arrival visas to Sikh pilgrims

Lahore, Sept 3 (PTI) Kartarpur is the "Madina" and Nankana Sahib is the "Makkah" of the Sikh community, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said and assured that his government will issue multiple and on-arrival visas to Sikh pilgrims coming from India and other countries, according to media reports on Tuesday.

Khan said the government will provide Sikh pilgrims maximum possible facilities during their pilgrimage to the holy sites in Pakistan, the News International reported.

Conscience of international community, shaken by Kashmiris’ agonies : Firdous

AJK president urges world powers to play role in resolving Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD, Sep 02 (APP): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan Monday urged the international community to play their due role in resolving the Kashmir issue as per the aspiration of Kashmiris.

Addressing a conference, “Kashmir: Heaven in Ashes” here, he urged, “The international community to break the silence and play its due role in resolving the outstanding Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions.”

Senior Indian diplomat to meet death-row convict Jadhav in Pak

New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) India has accepted the consular access extended by Pakistan to death-row convict Kulbhushan Jadhav and a senior Indian diplomat will meet him on Monday, official sources said as tensions over Kashmir simmer between the two countries.

Charge d' Affaires at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad Gaurav Ahluwalia will meet Jadhav, the sources said.

Kashmir’s siege enters its 28th consecutive day

ISLAMABAD, Sep 1 (APP): The curfew and communication blackout continued across the Kashmir valley and five districts of Jammu region on the 28th consecutive day, In Indian occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Kashmir valley remains cut off from the rest of the world since August 05 due to continued blockade and suspension of internet, mobile and landline services and closure of TV channels. Publication of local newspapers remains suspended.

Qureshi hopes EU will raise voice over Kashmiris’ plight

KARACHI, Sep 01 (APP): Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said the European Parliament during its discussion on Kashmir on Monday would hopefully raise its voice for the plight of Kashmiris who had been facing curfew and other restrictions for the past almost one month at the hand of Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir.
