Ukrainian drone crossing contact line downed near Gorlovka in DPR

DONERSK, November 25. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone was downed by militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic when it was crossing the contact line near Gorlovka, Daniil Bezsonov, a spokesman for the DPR’s defense ministry said on Sunday.

"Our air defense downed another Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle, which crossed the contact line this night," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying. "It was an assault drone with a flame liquid shell."

International observers call voter turnout at Donbass elections ‘unprecedented’

DONETSK/LUGANSK, November 11. /TASS/. International observers at the elections of heads of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and MPs have stated that the voting is in line with European standards and the voter turnout is unprecedented.

As of 2 p.m. Moscow Time, the voter turnout reached 56.5% and 65.9% in the LPR and DPR, respectively, local election officials said.

Three people wounded in party congress explosion in Donetsk

MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. An explosion wounded three people during the Communist party congress in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky wrote on Telegram on Saturday.

"Three people were wounded as an unidentified device exploded at the Communist party congress," he wrote.

The Ministry of State Security of the DPR confirmed that an explosion occurred. "The fact of explosion is confirmed, task forces have responded to the scene," the Donetsk News Agency quoted the source in the ministry.

Former head of Russia’s security service FSB suspects Kiev’s role in Zakharchenko murder

MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. The former head of Russia’s security service FSB, lawmaker Nikolai Kovalyov, believes that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) could be behind Friday’s blast that killed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) leader Alexander Zakharchenko.

"The present-day Ukraine views armed terror as an efficient way to put pressure, and actively uses it to deal with its opponents," said Kovalyov, who is also a member of the security committee at the State Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian parliament.

About 30 thousand people attend Zakharchenko’s funeral in Donetsk

DONETSK, September 2. /TASS/. About 30 thousand people attended the funeral of the Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed unrecognized Donetsk People’s Republic [DPR], Alexander Zakharchenko, who died on Friday in a terrorist explosion in Donetsk.

The funeral ceremony is taking place in the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Solovyanenko. Local ministers, MPs, military officers, entrepreneurs, seniors, students and schoolchildren have attended the ceremony.

Ukrainian military violates ceasefire 2 times per day - Donetsk People's Republic

DONETSK, August 26. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire regime 2 times in 24 hours, shelling the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, according to Donetsk People's Republic’s Representative to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

According to him, "The total number of violations by the Ukrainian military reached 2 instances. The total number of ammunition used by the military is 3 pieces."
