China upholding national sovereignty, stability along border areas: Spokesperson

Pakistan summons Indian diplomat over expulsion of 2 High Commission officials

Islamabad, Jun 1 (PTI) Pakistan on Monday summoned a senior Indian diplomat to register a strong protest over India's decision to expel two officials of its High Commission in New Delhi on charges of espionage.

India on Sunday declared two officials of the Pakistan High Commission as "persona non grata" on charges of espionage and ordered them to leave the country within 24 hours, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

ISLAMABAD, May 30 (APP): Pakistan and China have deepened their all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and, on the premise of mutual benefit and win-win, expanded bilateral cooperation in various fields in recent years, Pakistan Ambassador to China, Naghmana Hashmi said.

Both the countries have signed a number of bilateral cooperation agreements to deepen cooperation in trade, infrastructure, industry and culture, and formulate various cooperation mechanisms to ensure that the cooperation is implemented.

Work on flight data of crashed Pakistani airliner to start June 2 in France

KARACHI (Reuters) - Work on the flight data and cockpit voice recorders of a crashed Pakistani airliner will begin in France on June 2, investigators said on Saturday.

“The mission on site (of the crash) is about to be completed,” BEA, the French air safety investigation authority for civil aviation, said on Twitter. It added that Pakistani investigators would fly to France along with the French team.

OIC-IPHRC welcomes UN Secy Gen’s rejection of anti-Muslim bigotry in post-COVID scenario

ISLAMABAD, May 27 (APP): The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (OIC-IPHRC) on Wednesday welcomed United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ rejection of anti-Muslim bigotry during the situation of coronavirus pandemic.

“(This) echoes his commitment to challenge and combat ethno-nationalism and all forms of intolerances which are rising in post-COVID scenario,” the OIC-IPHRC said in a tweet.

PAK: Investigation of Karachi plane crash to take 3 months — minister

ISLAMABAD, May 23. /TASS/: A special investigative commission is expected to complete its probe into the recent Airbus A320 crash in Pakistan within three months, the country’s Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said on Saturday.

"I promise that the investigation will be transparent," the minister said. "The government will make its outcome available to the public."
