Iran Signed 300-Million-USD MoU For Car Exports To Russia

TEHRAN, Nov 29 (NNN-FNA) – Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding valued at 300 million U.S. dollars with Russia, for car exports to the country.

Russia is one of the customers of Iranian automobiles, Mohammadreza Najafi-Manesh, president of the Association of Homogeneous Powertrain Industries and Parts Manufacturers, was quoted as saying.

Najafi-Manesh noted that, Iran had exported some 1,000 vehicles to Venezuela, adding that, more orders from the South American country are expected in the future.

Iran says not to cooperate with UN fact-finding mission

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Monday that Tehran will not cooperate with the "political" fact-finding mission proposed by a recent United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution, according to Iran's official news agency IRNA.

Nasser Kanaani made the remarks at a weekly press conference, in response to the anti-Tehran resolution adopted in the Thursday UNHRC meeting, which was held at the request of Germany and Iceland to discuss the recent events in Iran.

Iran to thwart U.S., its allies' plots: IRGC commander

TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The chief commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Sunday that the Iranian nation will confront the attempts by the United States and its allies seeking to sow discord and division in the country and will thwart their hostile plots.

Making the remarks while addressing a group of the Iranian Basij volunteer forces in the southeastern city of Zahedan, Hossein Salami said that they are all trying to "provoke tensions in Iran by means of their divisive media outlets," reported by Press TV.

Iran begins enriching uranium to 60% purity

Tehran (ISNA) – For the first time, Iran has begun enriching uranium to 60% purity at Fordow nuclear facility.

The move came in response to the recent anti-Iran resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s Board of Governors.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Tuesday that stockpiles of uranium enriched up to 60% had increased at Fordow facility.

It also added that a new generation of IR-6 centrifuges had replaced older machines in Fordow to enable a massive ramp-up in output.

Foreign conspiracy to bring about civil war in Iran fails: FM

Tehran (ISNA) – The second press conference of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian began on Wednesday in Tehran.

Iran: Terrorists who attacked police officers in Zahedan arrested

Zahdan, IRNA - Sistan and Balouchestan Intelligence Office issuing a statement announced that its personnel have arrested the terrorists who had on November 21 attacked patrol police officers of Cheshme Ziarat Police station, martyring a soldier.

In the statement issued on Friday evening by the Intelligence Office it is said that the martyred soldier and wounded police officer were on a patrol mission at the time of the attack.

Iranian expert says appeasement will not prevent US’ blackmail

Tehran, IRNA - An expert in West Asia affairs said that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution drew a roadmap for domestic and foreign policy, especially in relation to the United States, for the statesmen and the great Iranian nation, because appeasement does not prevent US’ blackmail.

Speaking to IRNA, Hassan Hanizadeh said that the Supreme Leader severely criticized US’ blackmail policies and described it as US’ attempt to cross the Iranian nation’s red lines.
