ISLAMABAD, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan coast guards seized 26.2 kg of narcotics from a 12-year-old boy in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, a statement said on Friday.

The coast guards were searching passenger vehicles at a check post when a passenger bus heading to the southern port city of Karachi arrived and its passengers were checked, the statement said.

The coast guards discovered narcotics worth 1.69 million U.S. dollars in international market from the boy disguised as a woman, it added.

ISLAMABAD, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's textile export suffered over 12 percent fall from a year earlier in January, said the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), a trade organization representing the country's textile.

Last month, textile exports of the country declined to 1.36 billion U.S. dollars, as compared to 1.55 billion dollars in January 2022, the APTMA said in a report on Thursday.

ISLAMABAD, Jan 29 (NNN-APP) – Sixteen children were rescued from a boat that capsized in Kohat district of Pakistan’s north-west Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, today, an official said.

The boat, with 25 children onboard capsized in the Tanda Dam of the district, earlier in the morning, and divers recovered 16 children, while nine were still missing, deputy commissioner of Kohat district, Furqan Ashraf, said.

ISLAMABAD, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least 40 people were killed and four others injured after a passenger bus fell on Sunday morning in a ditch in the Lasbela district of Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, government authorities said.

According to the reports, the coach crashed into the pillar of a bridge while it was taking a U-turn near the Chinki stop in Bela area of the district and eventually fell into a ravine and caught fire.

The authorities said that the accident took place due to over-speeding.

ISLAMABAD, January 28 (APP): Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will undertake an official visit to Moscow from 29-30 January, at the invitation of Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

“The Foreign Minister will hold official talks with his Russian counterpart where the two sides would deliberate upon the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on the regional and international issues of mutual interest,” the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release on Saturday.

ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (NNN-APP) – Pakistan yesterday, strongly condemned Israel’s attack on the occupied northern West Bank, according to the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The Israeli armed forces stormed the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank on Thursday, and killed nine Palestinians, including an elderly woman, and wounded 16, four of them in serious condition.
