02 Feb 2023; MEMO: Israel's intelligence services have warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that nobody can guarantee calm with the Gaza Strip due to the continuous incitement by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and the measures he proposes.

The warning followed the Israeli Prison Service's aggression against Palestinian inmates, including women prisoners, who sent a voice message complaining about the aggression and restrictions.

Iran: Beating female Palestinian inmates in Israel's Damon Prison abhorring

Tehran, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani in a Twitter message reacted to the beating up of arrested Palestinian women in Damon Prison by Zionist officers, calling it abhorring.

Kanaani in his English language tweet wrote, "Beating female Palestinian inmates in #ZionistRegime's Damon Prison abhorrent."

He has also asked, "Do self-proclaimed rights defenders in Europe & US believe #HumanRights and women's rights apply to Palestinian prisoners in Israel's horrifying jails?"

Israel's finance minister refuses to transfer tax money to PA

01 Feb 2023; MEMO: Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has dismissed reports published by an Israeli channel that his ministry transferred tax money to the Palestinian Authority.

According to the Israeli media, Smotrich categorically denied the news reported by Israeli TV Channel 12 that his ministry transferred tax money to the Palestinian Authority prior to the visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Palestine: Activists call for protection of Palestinian properties from Israeli settlers

01 Feb 2023; MEMO: The Unified National Leadership of Popular Resistance (UNLPR) yesterday called for the formation of popular committees to protect Palestinian villages and municipalities from illegal Jewish settlers.

This came during a meeting held in Ramallah to discuss the issue of the continuous aggression of Israeli Jewish settlers on Palestinian villages and properties near illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank.
