Russia works on measures regarding UK’s involvement in Black Sea terrorist attack - MFA

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/: The Russian Foreign Ministry, alongside national specialized agencies, is working on practical measures concerning the involvement of British specialists in plotting the terrorist attack on Sevastopol, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Saturday.

Russia: Surface drone destroyed near Sevastopol, in addition to UAV - governor

SEVASTOPOL, October 29. /TASS/: A surface drone and a UAV were destroyed in the waters of the Sevastopol Bay, there were no casualties, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote in his Telegram channel on Saturday.

"In addition to the UAV, our military, according to preliminary information, also destroyed a surface drone," he wrote.

He added that the attacks started at 04:30 in the morning. "Various air defense systems in Sevastopol repelled drone attacks. All UAVs were shot down," the governor said.

Russia: Putin emphasizes only well-trained reservists should be sent to front line

NOVO-OGAROVO, October 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu that only well-trained mobilized reservists should be sent to the front line in the special military operation in Ukraine.

"Actually speaking, 41,000 [fighters] are operating as part of combat units while all the rest are still undergoing combat training in one way or another," Putin said, after listening to the defense chief’s report.

Bank of Russia interacts with partners on Mir card alternatives — Governor

MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/: The Bank of Russia is interacting with foreign partners on alternatives to the Mir payment card, Central Bank chief Elvira Nabiullina said on Friday at the press conference after the regulator’s Board meeting.

"We are interacting with all the partners. It depends on each party, each party is special. We will not probably comment on details now but we endeavor to establish various alternative opportunities for our citizens frequently going to tourist trips, on business, to have the opportunity of using modern payment methods," she said.

Shoigu tells Putin partial mobilization over in Russia

NOVO-OGARYOVO, October 28. /TASS/: The partial mobilization has ended in Russia, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu told President Vladimir Putin on Friday.

"The deployment of citizens called up for mobilization was completed today. The conscription of citizens has stopped. The target you set - 300,000 people - has been met. No additional assignments are being planned," the Russian defense minister said.

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/: Russia will determine its position regarding the food deal extension by November 18, official spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Thursday.

"We will establish our position by November 18, based on the actual data," Zakharova said.

Problems arising in respect of the food deal should be overcome cooperatively, the diplomat added.
