Finance minister says Russia has ‘found antidote’ to sanctions

Ukrainian manpower losses rise nearly twofold week over week to 2,500 men

MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/: The Russian armed forces wiped out over 2,500 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries during its special military operation in Ukraine over the last week, according to TASS calculations based on daily briefings by Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov. MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/: The grain deal can hardly be implemented without Russia and it is becoming more risky by nature, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"In conditions when Russia speaks about impossibility of guaranteeing safe shipping in indicated areas, such deal certainly can hardly be implemented. It acquires a different nature, much more risky, dangerous and non-guaranteed," Peskov said.

All partial military mobilization activities have been halted — Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/: All partial military mobilization activities and the handing out of military summonses have been halted, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.

"All activities related to conscription of reservists for military service by military enlistment offices and regional governments have been halted. The preparation and handing out of military summonses are now stopped," the ministry said.

"Following the October 29 terror attack on Russian Black Sea Fleet and civil ships used to ensure security of the ‘grain corridor,’ fragments of naval unmanned aerial vehicle used by the Kiev regime under the supervision of representatives of the United Kingdom have been spotted and raised to the surface," it said.

Ukrainian troops tried to land in area around Zaporozhye NPP

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/: On Saturday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an attempt to land troops in the area of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, chairman of the ‘We Are Together with Russia’ movement Vladimir Rogov said on Saturday.

"Early in the morning, according to eyewitnesses, militants of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky attempted to land troops in the vicinity of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Energodar," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
