Russia, China sign contracts on mutual deployment of navigation stations

MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/: Russia and China have signed contracts for the deployment of Russia’s GLONASS stations in China and China’s Beidou system stations in Russia, the state corporation Roscosmos said in a news release on Tuesday.

Roscosmos said that earlier on Tuesday there was a videoconference of the Russian-Chinese committee for strategic cooperation in satellite navigation projects.

Russia: Putin told Erdogan he remained ready for talks with Ukraine — Kremlin spokesman

MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/: In a conversation with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia remained ready for negotiations with Ukraine, but as the situation changes their conditions also change, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media on Tuesday.

"The President said that, of course, Russia remains ready to negotiate, but as the situation changes, so do the conditions," Peskov said.

Over 90% of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson voters favor joining Russia — first results

TASS, September 27: Voting in referendums on joining Russia in the Donetsk and the Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, is coming to an end. In the latter three, voting ended at 4:00 p.m. Moscow time on Tuesday. In the DPR, some polling stations have also already closed, with some remaining open until 20:00 Moscow time. Preliminary results are coming in from polling stations on Russian territory, where refugees and diplomatic corps were allowed to vote.

Big majority said to favour joining Russia in first vote results on future of occupied Ukraine regions

Sept 27 (Reuters) - First partial results from votes cast inside Russia on whether four Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine should be incorporated into Russia showed overwhelming majorities in favour, state news agency RIA said on Tuesday, after so-called referendums that Kyiv and the West have denounced as a sham.

Hastily arranged votes had taken place over five days in the four areas - Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson - that make up about 15% of Ukrainian territory. Displaced people from those regions were able to cast votes in Russia.

Farmers among Russians drafted into the military, Putin says

MOSCOW, Sept 27 (Reuters) - Farmers are among the Russians being drafted into the military, President Vladimir Putin told a meeting with officials on Tuesday, signalling potential further risks for the 2023 crop.

Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter. Autumn is a busy season for farmers as they sow winter wheat for the next year's crop and harvest soybeans and sunflower seeds. Winter grain sowing has already been significantly delayed by rains.

Washington admits to conducting biological research on low-income Ukrainians: Russian media

MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/: Russian President Vladimir Putin is deeply saddened by today’s inhumane act of terror in a school in Izhevsk, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The president expressed his deepest condolences to all those who lost their loved ones, their children in this tragic incident, and wished the soonest recovery to those wounded in the inhumane terrorist attack," Peskov said.

US denies alternative view on referendums, replicates threats — Russian senior diplomat

MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/: The US denies any alternative view of the situation in the Donetsk and the Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions, where referendums on joining Russia are held, and only replicates threats, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said during a Channel One TV broadcast on Monday.

Russia and Belarus will fly their own planes, drive their own cars, says Lukashenko

SOCHI, September 26. /TASS/: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes that joint import substitution projects of Russia and Belarus will make it possible to replace products previously supplied from unfriendly countries.

"We are doing well with import substitution. We will fly our own planes - both military and civilian. We will travel in our own cars. There is no fear," Lukashenko said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
