Katihar, Nov 13 (PTI) A man taking cattle to sell at a market in West Bengal was beaten to death in Bihar's Katihar district for allegedly refusing to pay extortion money demanded by miscreants, police said.

The incident took place on Monday evening when the man identified as Mohammed Jamal, his brother and another person were taking 18 cows and bullocks to the market at Kursel in Azamnagar, the police said.

Srinagar, Nov 12: A Kashmiri separatist was killed and an Army soldier injured in an alleged encounter between with Indian security forces and Kashmiri separatists in Ganderbal district of Indian administered Kashmir, an Indian official said.

11 Nov 2019; MEMO: Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC) has introduced new regulations for domestic workers, local media reported yesterday.

“HRC has introduced new related contractual, financial and health rights for the domestic workers in Saudi Arabia,” the commission said on Twitter.

The rights commission explained that it was “forbidden” to employ domestic workers in a job that “threatens their health, safety or dignity.”

Bhopal, Nov 10 (PTI) Internet services in four districts in Madhya Pradesh's Bundelkh and region were suspended from midnight on Sunday after people there wanted to take out processions to mark Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi despite a ban by authorities, police said.

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, is being celebrated across the country on Sunday.

Internet services would resume in a few hours time by midnight Monday, Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, SW Naqvi told PTI.
