Trump hails North Korea's 'awesome' potential

27 Feb 2019; DW: Ahead of talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said there was "awesome" potential and "great opportunity" for North Korea, which would be sooner realized if it committed to denuclearization.

"Vietnam is thriving like few places on earth. North Korea would be the same, and very quickly, if it would denuclearize," Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump arrives in Hanoi for 2nd DPRK-U.S. summit

HANOI, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump arrived at the Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi Tuesday evening for the second summit with Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

After disembarking from Air Force One, Trump shook hands and talked with officials who were at the airport to greet him, before heading for his hotel.

Kim arrived in Hanoi earlier on Tuesday morning.

West blocks Russia’s initiatives to regulate the Internet: Lavrov

Kim Jong Un impersonator deported from Vietnam ahead of summit

25 Feb 2019; AFP: A Kim Jong Un impersonator was hauled from his hotel Monday ahead of his planned deportation from Vietnam before the real North Korean leader meets US President Donald Trump in Hanoi later this week.

Howard X arrived in town with Trump impersonator Russell White last week, staging a fake summit on the steps of Hanoi's Opera House amid a swarm of press and hired security guards.

Trade war already underway across the globe, notes Russia's PM

HANOI, November 19. /TASS/. The trade war is already underway bringing certain fruit to its initiators but there will be no winners at the end of the day, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told reporters on Monday.

"It [the trade war] has already been waged. It is underway. All of us evidence that this war in general terms is already bringing certain fruit to specific countries attempting to press on their course. On the other hand, it brings costs to the whole global trade. Certainly, there will be no winners eventually, like in any war of such kind," Medvedev said.
