MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/: The integrated air defense (AD) system of member-states of the Collective Security Organization (CSTO) has actually been created, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on the air with the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

"It [the integrated AD system - TASS] has actually been created, created at a bilateral level. We have an agreement <...> with each country. This is with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and naturally with Belarus," the minister said.

Pakistani shopping mall blaze kills at least 10 people and injures 22 others

KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) — A fire tore through a shopping mall in the southwestern Pakistani city of Karachi, killing at least 10 people and injuring 22 others, police and local officials said Saturday.

The multi-story RJ Mall is in a commercial high-rise that also houses call centers and software firms.

The fire department dispatched eight fire trucks to the scene after being alerted at 6:30 a.m, local time. Chief fire officer, Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, said the fourth floor of the building was the most affected.

France sends specialists to fight wildfires in Bolivia

LA PAZ, Nov 26 (NNN-TELESUR) — France on Friday dispatched a team of specialists in wildfire combat to the Santa Cruz department, one of the areas most affected by the fires in the Bolivian Amazon.

Forty firefighters and rescue professionals will join local efforts, the French Foreign Affairs Ministry said, adding that the French team will operate in two protected areas.

French President Emmanuel Macron responded to the request for assistance from Bolivian authorities. On Thursday, Bolivia received a donation of 53 firefighter helmets through the French cooperation.

Germany: European countries tighten borders

US: 5 dead in Thanksgiving Day fire that engulfed Ohio mobile homes

ATHENS COUNTY (Ohio, US), Nov 26 (NNN-AGENCIES) — Five people, including two children, were found dead after fire swept through neighboring mobile homes on Thanksgiving Day in Ohio, officials said.

The blaze was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday in Athens County. First responders were told people were possibly trapped in two residences as flames consumed the structures and at least one roof collapsed, said Richland Area Fire Chief Dale Sinclair.

Ukraine’s military says Russia launched its largest drone attack since the start of the invasion

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia on Saturday morning launched its most intense drone attack on Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion in 2022, targeting the Ukrainian capital, military officials said.

In total, Russia launched 75 Iranian-made Shahed drones against Ukraine, of which 74 were destroyed by air defenses, Ukraine’s air force said.

“Kyiv was the main target,” Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk wrote on his Telegram channel.

China warns South Korea not to politicise economic issues

Russia: Gazprom sets historical record of daily gas supplies to China

MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/: Gazprom set a new record of gas supplies to China over the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, the gas giant reports.

The previous maximum was achieved on November 23.

"On November 25, the nomination of the Chinese side for Russian gas supplies over the Power of Siberia gas pipeline was again above daily contractual commitments. Gazprom supplied all the requested volumes and set a new historical record of daily gas supplies to China," the company informed.

ANTANANARIVO, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- Madagascar's incumbent President Andry Rajoelina has won the presidential election by garnering more than 50 percent of the votes, according to preliminary results released Saturday by the country's Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI).

The CENI announced that Rajoelina obtained a total of 2,856,090 votes, or 58.95 percent of the votes, at a press conference.

With more than 50 percent of the votes garnered, the incumbent president won the presidential election during its first round, said the CENI.
