IAEA inspects Iran’s nuclear centers 33 times a year

Tehran, June 22, IRNA – An international lawyer and university professor said on Monday that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspects Iranian nuclear centers 33 times a year, which is the highest number in the world and shows Iran has had the most cooperation with the Agency.

Mohammad-Reza Hosseini said the US has a few scenarios to pressure Iran and take the issue of the country’s nuclear activities to the United Nations Security Council.

Iranian cargo ship carrying food supplies arrives in Venezuelan territorial waters

22 June 2020; IRNA: Iranian cargo ship Golesan is carrying food and medical supplies to combat coronavirus pandemic, Iran's Ambassador to Caracas Hojjat Soltani wrote on his Twitter page few hours ago.

Iranian-flagged cargo ship left Bandar Abbas on May 15 and now is in Venezuela's territorial waters.

Recently, Iranian oil tankers docked at Venezuela's port after passing the Caribbean Sea to help the friendly nation of Venezuela deal with shortage of fuel caused by the US sanctions against the country.

Iran may offer discounts to lure airlines to fly through its airspace

21 June 2020; MEMO: Iran is drawing up plans to offer discounts to some foreign airlines using its airspace, state news agency IRNA quoted a senior aviation official as saying on Saturday, after a slump in flights due to the coronavirus pandemic and regional tensions, Reuters reports.

Nasser Aghaei, director of the state-run Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company, said the discounts would go to the top eight airlines providing transit income as well as airlines boosting their flights by 20%.

Iran expresses concerns over test of nuclear ballistic missile by France

TEHRAN, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Saturday expressed concerns over the test launch of a nuclear ballistic missile by France, official IRNA news agency reported.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi described the launch of a new generation of intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads by the French Navy as "incompatible with Article 6 of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and France's commitment to nuclear disarmament treaty."

Iran Condemns IAEA’s Anti-Iran Resolution As “Unconstructive”

TEHRAN, June 20 (NNN-IRNA) – The Iranian foreign ministry, on Friday, condemned the anti-Iran resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as “unconstructive.”

In a statement, Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Abbas Mousavi, dismissed “the political and non-technical resolution” of the IAEA, noting, Iran has had the highest level of cooperation with the IAEA.

The issuance of the resolution is a “completely unconstructive and disappointing move,” said Mousavi.

Iran Confirms Death Of Fugitive Judge In Romania

TEHRAN, June 20 (NNN-TASNIM) – Iranian foreign ministry, on Friday, confirmed the death of a fugitive judge in Romania, Press TV reported.

The Iranian judge, identified as Gholamreza Mansouri, apparently fell out of a window, in the Duke Hotel in Romania’s capital, Bucharest, on Friday, according to preliminary reports.

Mansouri had been to Iran’s Embassy in Bucharest, to discuss possible ways to return to Iran, Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Abbas Mousavi, said, Friday.

Iran condemns IAEA anti-Iran resolution as "unconstructive"

TEHRAN, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The Iranian foreign ministry on Friday condemned the anti-Iran resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as "unconstructive."

Iran's FM says talks with Turkish officials "productive"

TEHRAN, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that he had "productive" talks with the Turkish officials during his one-day trip to Istanbul on Monday.

"Productive talks with my friend @MevlutCavusoglu & other senior officials in Istanbul," Zarif tweeted.

The Iranian foreign minister hailed "in-depth exchange and fruitful decisions on bilateral cooperation, and also regional and global issues."

He also stressed close consultations between the two countries.
