MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/: The price of gas in Europe fell below $1,200 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since mid-June, according to London’s ICE.

The November futures price at the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell to $1,175 per 1,000 cubic meters or 115.56 euro per MWh (based on the current euro/dollar exchange rate, ICE prices are presented in euro per MWh).

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/: Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a virtual meeting of the Russian Security Council on Wednesday, October 19, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.

"It’s planned to consider issues related to the neutralization of threats to national security in the migration area and the regulation of migration processes in the interests of the socio-economic development of the country and socio-political stability," the Kremlin said in a statement.

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/: A Moscow court of cassation rejected blogger Alexey Navalny’s cassation appeal against his conviction for fraud and contempt of court, a TASS correspondent reported.

Navalny took part in the hearing via video link from a penal colony where he is serving his sentence. The defense asked that the verdict be overturned and that Navalny be acquitted. The prosecution, in turn, asked the court to uphold the verdict.

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/: Google’s move to block the YouTube accounts of the Russian Federation Council (the upper house of parliament) won’t lead to a ban on the video hosting platform in Russia, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building Andrey Klishas told TASS.

When asked if Google’s decision could result in a nationwide ban on YouTube, the senator said: "No. We need to promote our own platforms and make them comfortable for domestic users."

MOSCOW (AP) — The death toll from the crash of a Russian warplane into a Russian city rose to 15 on Tuesday, including three people who died when they jumped from a nine-story apartment building to escape a massive blaze, authorities said.

A Su-34 bomber came down Monday in the Sea of Azov port city of Yeysk after one of its engines caught fire during takeoff for a training mission, the Russian Defense Ministry said. It said both crew members bailed out safely, but the plane crashed into a residential area, igniting a huge fire as tons of fuel exploded on impact.

In a post on Telegram, Medvedev, currently the deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, said supplying weapons to Ukraine will be "a rash step", fraught with the destruction of relations with Russia.

MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/: The goals of the partial mobilization in Moscow have been achieved in full and reservists’ visits to military offices on call-up notices are no longer required, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on Monday.

"According to the information of the Moscow military commissar, the goals of the partial mobilization set pursuant to a presidential decree and mandated by the Defense Ministry have been achieved in full," the mayor wrote on his blog.

Partial mobilization call-up offices are closing at 2:00 p.m. on October 17, Sobyanin added.

MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/: Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned on Monday that it would be a mistake for Israel to supply weapons to Ukraine.

"Israel seems to have decided to supply weapons to the Kiev regime. That would be a very rash decision, for it would damage all the interstate relations between our countries," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

YEYSK, Russia, Oct 17 (Reuters) - A Russian fighter plane crashed into a residential building in the southern Russian city of Yeysk on Monday, engulfing apartments in flames, the regional governor said.

Footage showed a large fireball erupting from a multi-storey building. Russian news agencies said the pilots had ejected.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the plane was a Sukhoi Su-34, a supersonic medium-range fighter-bomber.

RIA news agency said it crashed during a training flight from a military airfield. TASS said the crash was caused by an engine fire.
