14 Jan 2023; MEMO: Iran currently has enough enriched uranium to make four nuclear bombs, Israel's outgoing military chief informed reporters on Friday.

"Iran today has enough enriched material to produce four nuclear bombs, three at 20 per cent and one at 60 per cent," Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported outgoing Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi telling reporters.

09 Jan 2023; MEMO: Israeli opposition leader, Yair Lapid, on Monday, accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of "eliminating democracy" in Israel amid a row over a proposed judicial reform, Anadolu News Agency reports.

"This is not judicial reform, this is extreme regime change […] this is cutting Israel off from the family of liberal countries," Lapid said on Twitter.

Israel revokes Palestinian FM’s travel permit over UN move

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel on Sunday revoked the Palestinian foreign minister’s travel permit, part of a series of punitive steps against the Palestinians that Israel’s new hard-line government announced days ago.

Riad Malki said in a statement that he was returning from the Brazilian president’s inauguration when he was informed that Israel rescinded his travel permit, which allows top Palestinian officials to travel easily in and out of the occupied West Bank, unlike ordinary Palestinians. It was not clear whether the permits of other officials had been revoked as well.
