India: Two little children drowned to death into the Ganga river

Kanpur: Two children died tragically owing to the wrong steps taken by a father. The father jumped into the Ganges river with two innocent children in a drunken state.

As a result, both the children died drowning while the father was saved by the local people.

After getting the information about the incident, the police reached the spot, while a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot.

According to the information, Daya Shankar (30 years), a resident of Unnao, was married to Sita.

They have two children Shiva (3 years) and Shivansh (one year).

On Thursday morning, there was a dispute between Daya Shankar and Sita over something.

On this Daya Shankar came to the Bithoor Ganga bridge with his children on his bike and jumped into the river.

Seeing the three jumping into the Ganges, the local people saved Daya Shankar, but both of his innocent children drowned.

The man jumped into the Ganges in a state of intoxication. This incident caused uproar in the family. The mother of the children has reached the spot and she is stated to be in a bad condition.

The police also reached the spot. Divers were put into service to search for the children. Police have taken the father into custody
