India: Insufficient sweets packets lead to scuffle at College in Kanpur

Kanpur: The DBS College principal formed a committee to conduct the probe into the scuffle that broke out between the College NCC in charge and Steno, in Govind Nagar. The packets of laddoos were found to be insufficient.

Reacting to the matter the College principal Anil Kumar Mishra said that there took place some scuffle on the issue of sweets distribution between the NCC in charge and steno. The probe panel would submit a report on Wednesday.

It is alleged that the students who favour the NCC in charge beat up Steno and other teachers and employees.

While the video of some people abusing outside the college and catching a young man also went viral.

The College Steno Abhinav Srivastava said that after the flag hoisting on Independence Day, the distribution of sweets was taking place. During this, NCC in-charge NP Singh had asked for 60 packets for NCC students. Anyhow the bag of laddu packets changed and instead of 60, he got 55 packets.

It is alleged that the NCC in charge slapped him due to getting insufficient packets. When other teachers protested this, they allegedly called some youths from outside, who reportedly beat them and the teachers and employees.

Now whatever the college management decides, I agree. At the same time, NP Singh also told that he had explained to Steno in getting insufficient packets and only touched his cheek. It was not done to slap Steno who reportedly misinterpreted it.
