US procrastinates approval of Israeli missile sale to Germany

19 Sep 2022; MEMO: The United States is stalling in giving its approval for Israel to sell Arrow 3 missile defence system to Germany, the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported on Sunday.

German Chancellor Ulf Schulz had sought during his visit to Israel six months ago to purchase Israeli missiles, which is developed in coordination with the US and with US funding.

Israel extends administrative detention of female Palestinian journalist for third time

20 Sep 2022; MEMO: Israeli occupation authorities yesterday extended the administrative detention of female Palestinian journalist, Bushra Al-Taweel, for the third time in a row, for a period of three months.

Twenty-nine-year-old Al-Taweel, a resident of the city of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, was arrested on 21 March at the Zatara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Israel security recommends closure of northern West Bank

15 Sep 2022; MEMO: Israel's internal security agency, Shin Bet, has recommended closing some cities and towns in the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli media reported yesterday.

The Shin Bet's recommendation included the closure on the Jenin area where the security situation is "getting out of control," according to a security official who was quoted in the Jerusalem Post.

Israel: head of Rabat liaison office relieved of duties after sexual and financial improprieties

15 Sep 2022; MEMO: The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday that it has relieved the head of the Rabat Liaison Office of his duties. David Govrin, said the ministry, has been replaced by Alona Fisher Kamm.

Govrin was recalled last week pending an investigation into allegations of sexual and financial improprieties at the newly-opened Israeli mission in the Moroccan capital. He was Israel's senior representative in the North African country.

Israel: campaign to stop Iran nuclear deal 'successful': Lapid

Lapid made his comment after France, Germany and Britain issued a joint statement on Saturday accusing Iran of undermining efforts to revive the nuclear deal.
