But when shown a decade-old email asking him for information for one of his dad’s financial statements, the irritated son strove to clarify.

After two Israeli airstrikes flattened an entire block of apartment buildings in the Bureij refugee camp and damaged two U.N. schools-turned-shelters, rubble-covered Palestinians big and small arrived at a hospital too packed to take them.

Turkish police seize over one ton of drugs

ANKARA, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Turkish security forces seized 1.1 tons of drugs in anti-narcotic operations across 44 provinces, the country's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said Friday.

A total of 176 suspects were detained in the operations involving 387 teams, 985 police officers, two aircraft, and 27 narcotic detection dogs, Yerlikaya said on social media X.

The police seized 846 kg of methamphetamine, 223 kg of skunk, 11 kg of cocaine, 15 kg of marijuana, five kg of bonzai, 0.5 kg of heroin, 35,000 narcotic pills, 14 pistols, four rifles, and a large amount of money.

Explosion Rocks U.S. Military Base In North-Eastern Syria: Report

DAMASCUS, Nov 3 (NNN-SANA) – An explosion rocked a U.S. military base in Syria’s north-eastern province of Hasakah last night, a pro-government radio station reported.

The blast was heard at a U.S. military base, located in the Shaddadi area, in what appeared to be a drone attack, according to the Sham FM radio.

No more details were provided, but the base and other U.S. military bases in eastern Syria have been subject to drone attacks recently, against the backdrop of the Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

YANGON, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's three government-controlled areas have fallen following attacks on security outposts in the northern Shan state since Oct. 27, the Information Team of Myanmar's State Administration Council said on Thursday.

The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), and Arakan Army (AA) groups attacked Myanmar armed forces' security outposts in some areas of the northern Shan state, the information team said.

Pakistan’s Forex Reserves Increase 14 Million USD: Central Bank

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (NNN-APP) – Pakistan’s total foreign exchange reserves have increased 14 million U.S. dollars, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said in a statement, yesterday.

With the increase, total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stand at 12.6 billion dollars, as of Oct 27, the statement said.

Reserves held by the SBP were calculated as 7.5 billion dollars, and commercial banks have 5.1 billion dollars, it added.
