Kanpur: Popular magician OP Sharma has passed away after a prolonged illness at a hospital here.
OP Sharma's Bhoot Bungalow was located in Barra locality. He belonged to Ballia.
He had contested the assembly elections from Govind Nagar on a Samajwadi Party ticket in year 2002.
However his entry in the BJP happened in the year 2019.
Deputy CM K P Mauraya has also expressed his condolence on his sudden death.
His convoy used to be bigger as he did not leave company of about 100 artistes. This made him to carry his paraphernalia in more than 16 trucks.
