India: Two oxygen plants to be set up at Hallet's LLR Hospital

KANPUR: An inspection of the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital in Hallet by the company officials was conducted. As many as two oxygen plants will be set up to make the hospital totally self-sufficient in this case.

The spot where both the oxygen plants will be installed was also surveyed.

According to the information, one oxygen plant will supply the gas to all the Wards of the hospital. It will be set up near Ward number 5.

While another oxygen plant will be put up at a 240-bed multi-speciality hospital constructing under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna announced in the year 2003.

The country's yojna aims at correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/ reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education.

Both the plants will be equipped with a 20 thousand litres liquid storage capacity.
