The High Voltage  Drama, which started  just after the game changing Brigade rally took place, has been attributed as mockery between the BJP  and the TMC  by the  CPI(M) State  Secretary Surya Mishra  and Left Front Chairman Biman Basu.  Today the CPI(M)  West Bengal state Committee which is in session today in Kolkata, took a break half way so that its  members can  Join a huge march organised by CPI(M) Kolkata  District Committee. CPI(M) State Secretary  Surya Mishra, Left Front Chairman Biman Basu,   CPI(M) Central Committee Member Nripen Choudhury,  CPI(M) CCCM and LLP leader dr Sujan Chakraborty, Rabin Deb, Madan Ghosh, Senior CPI(M) leader Dipak Dasgupta, Ace Lawyer   Bikash ranjan Bhattacharya  joined the March which nearly covered about 1.5 Km’s   from Ramlia  Maidan  near Moulali crossing to  Lady Brabourne college   at park Circus.

The Marchers raised slogan “Chor Dhoro, Jail Bhoro” (Catch  the Thief- Sent them to Jail) and   “No drama – but jailgate to criminals’ and  raised high pitched slogaans telling that  “Before Vote CBI and After Vote as Bhai (Brother).

After the  March from a Makeshift  truck mounted podium CPI(M) State Secretary Dr Surya Mishra  said that the unfolded Drama is a pre mediated one and has started just after the huge mobilsation of the poor people sent tremors to the establishments in Kolkata and New Delhi. We don’t have reservation if  the heinous  criminals are caught, but what was the CBI doing all these 4 years. He alleged that the Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar as the head of SIT has destroyed evidence, and this fact has been known to one and all in the state for the past many years. He also questioned as to why the CM is too much  proactive to save the Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, while  many of his own party leaders like Madan Mitra, MP Sudip Bandhapadhya was arrested, then she was not so active? Actually the larger conspiracy part, which the CBI has been asked to probe by the Supreme Court, will be crystal clear if the  Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar  who has so far been evasive to  CBI interrogation  is questioned or arrested. He also  welcomed the  Todays verdict of Kolkata High Court acting on a plea of the State Government  that the Kolkata Police Commissioner can be arrested by the CBI, if they so desire, in the chit fund case.

Left Front Chairman Biman Basu quipped that there’s no constitutional crisis at all, the only crisis is about catching  the thiefs  who have engulfed the common peoples’ hard earned money, if the criminals  are caught and their properties are confiscated to be distributed between the lakhs of affected poor people, then there will be no problem. He also added that that the delay of the case between the CBI which is under the PM, and  Kolkata Police which operates under Chief Minister, is completely a game plan between Modi and Mamata, and its timing of starting the drama, proves the point.
