Objections raised at UP Board exam centres

KANPUR: Uttar Pradesh Board examination centres for Kanpur Nagar district have been set up by ignoring defined rules. As many as eight objections were made online so far.

If complaints will be found correct, a complete report would be sent to the Board Headquarters at Allahabad, said Deputy Inspector of Schools SK Tiwari, adding that the Board has to finalise everything.

The UP Board has posted the examination centres list on its website that can also be seen on the website of the DIOS office.

If the exam centre for the girl examinees cannot be set up beyond three kms, how has it be set up at longer distance? The school capacity has also been overlooked. If a school cannot accommodate even roughly three hundred examinees, how has it been made a centre for one thousand examines? While planning the exam centres the Board seemed to have missed infrastructure of the schools.

It is expected that as many as fifteen centres could be changed in light of these irregularities.
