India: Student felt big at clapping for better marks in the class

Kanpur: There is nothing that provides a ton of joy to a mediocre student when he is ably admired for his good performance in the examinations coming either from the class teacher or the subject teacher in the class.

It works like a psychological booster. This also helps in increasing confidence among the students without any doubt.

The day school started after vacations, the students were shown the answer copy in the class. Being the first day of the week, the answer copies of only two subjects were brought to the notice of the students.

When one student of class 8 found the whole class clapping for him, he was amazed.

Talking to this scribe, he told that this sort of honour was tremendous for him. He realised the excitement of real joy.

As the clapping was done by students at the straight instructions of the subject teacher, he felt immense satisfaction, he added.

He was indeed applauded by way of clapping but it was like seeing some unusual scene for a moment and a formal feeling in its spur and impact.

He stated that it was what gave him motivation for better learning and securing better marks in at least English litt. subject.

It was what gives the students the courage to face exams. It was what keeps us out of fear of the examinations, he reacted.

The purpose of clapping was to improve positivity. He also disclosed how his nursery class teacher once dressed him like a Sikh and his performance had received the clapping of the crowded audience in the posh school's annual function.
