India: DM issues show-cause notice to Ursula's officers

Kanpur: A show-cause notice has been issued to both the CMS Dr A K Singh and Chief Medical Officer Dr Nepal Singh respectively of Ursula hospital here.

In his spot inspection on Tuesday morning, District Magistrate Vishakhkji Aiyyar has found various flaws in the hospital.

Both the officers were asked to respond within the prescribed  time. He has asked them various pointwise questions.

It was reported that he reached the hospital like a common man in the morning. As he was wearing a mask on his face he started reading the poor administration of the hospital. 

He came to learn of various shortcomings which the patients happen to pass. He was sitting just beside the doctor's chamber.

The doctor's chambers were not still opened. Unhygienic conditions were telling its poor tale. Only two registration counters out of four windows were opened so far. 

Having known of DM's surprise inspection, the Chief medical superintendent Dr A K Singh reached the hospital. He was deeply irritated at the patients sitting on the ground.

However, DM did ask him: What is all this? How are the patients sitting on the ground?

Blaming him for the anomalies the DM took a round of the hospital. Afterwards, he Inspected the Pathology, Store and every Chamber of the hospital.
