India: Complicated questions confuse candidates at UPSEE

Kanpur: As many as 9461 candidates appeared at the UP State Entrance Examination,(UPSEE), 2020 at nearly 13 centres here on Sunday. This test was meant for admission to a total of 9 different courses like the computer, technical and management streams. I

The Nodal Officer Prof Mukesh Singh told that as many as 9461 candidates appeared while 4214 candidates remained absent.

Collecting candidates reactions on the question papers it was learnt candidates appearing for MBA admission had to face tough questions while B Tech aspirants looked confused with the maths and physics questions respectively. Some said that usually, aspirants get complicated questions in both the typical, tough and heavy subjects.

This entrance examination was organized by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It was held in three different shifts viz morning, afternoon and evening.

The candidates were allowed entry one hour prior to the start of the test at all the centres. This was carried out to conduct a thorough thermal screening along with sanitisation under the set norm.

The candidates were sent into the room with adherence to the rule of social distancing. Mask was essential for every examiner, in case one was not bringing the mask it was given to the candidate.
