KANPUR: As many as 3123 candidates have not appeared at the TET held at 64 examination centres here on Sunday. The examination was conducted in two shifts. This is a teacher eligibility test.
This entrance examination remains mandatory for securing teaching jobs in government schools from class 1 to class 8. Satish Tiwari, the Nodal officer told a total of 59,683 examinees turned up at the test in both the shifts.
Though candidates faced a little trouble in finding out the exact location of the examination centres, they tried their best to reach on time. Some of them even complained of tough mathematics question paper.
