Kanpur: A truck full of beer overturned on Tuesday here. A crowd gathered to loot the canes of beer. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot after getting the information. Police handled the situation.
It was later learnt that the truck laden with beer canes turned turtle near Chaubeypur highway as the road was dilapidated. When the police arrived on the spot the crowd was dispersed. People gathered to loot the beer canes.
It has also been reported that the police brought the canes into the police station and informed the proprietor. Later the whole of the canes were entrusted to the proprietor who reportedly hired another truck to carry the canes.
