According to the official, the deadly incident took place at 2:00 a.m. local time, in Alishing district, when the roof of a mud house collapsed and killed seven members of the ill-fated family.

Five children, along with their parents, were killed. Only an eight-year-old girl survived, but was in critical condition, the official further said.
