Russia’s COVID-19 case tally grows by 9,580 with 30 new fatalities — crisis center

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/: Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 9,580 over the past day to 22,262,717, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Monday.

As many as 786 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, 10.7% fewer than in the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients declined in 45 regions, while in 28 other regions the figure increased. A day earlier, 880 people were rushed to hospitals.

Moscow’s COVID-19 cases surged by 1,778 over the past day, versus 1,419 a day earlier, reaching 3,416,443, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 1,063 over the past day versus 1,056 a day earlier, reaching 1,877,113.

COVID-19 recoveries

Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 9,250 over the past day, reaching 21,600,487, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Monday.

COVID-19 death toll

Russia’s COVID-19 death toll surged by 30 over the past day to 396,065, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Monday.

A day earlier 31 COVID-19 deaths were registered.
