India: Two die, three hurt as boundary wall collapses in Kanpur

Kanpur: Two old people died tragically after being buried under the rubble when a wall collapsed during the rain. Three people have been injured in the accident.

The wall of Allahabad Bank located near Bada Chauraha in Kanpur collapsed during the rain on Wednesday afternoon.

Two people, including an old woman, died after being buried under the spilt rubble. Three people were reported to be injured.

Police reached out after getting the sad information and admitted the injured to Ursala Hospital here. After the incident, there was shouting on the spot.

A part of the boundary wall of the bank premises suddenly collapsed at around 2.30 pm during heavy rain.

Five people standing there came under its grip and got covered up in the rubble.

With the help of the people around, the police removed the debris and sent everyone to Ursala Hospital.

The doctors declared Vinod Kumar Trivedi (50) resident of Birhana Road and a 65-year-old old woman dead.

At the same time, Radha, Riya and the elderly are among the injured. They are reportedly treated in a hospital.
