Kanpur: It is for the first time the elections of various posts of the Indian Medical Association, Kanpur Chapter will be done through e-voting.
Giving this valid information the election committee chairman Dr SK Katiyar told that the nomination process will be conducted between Sept 1 and 6. Voting will be held from Sept 28 to October 4.
It was further added the use of smartphone would be allowed. Every member would get a link.
The result will be declared after 30 hours of the completion of voting.
Senior member would avail a separate system of voting if the seniors are not using a smartphone, said the poll panel secretary Dr B Nigam adding that as many 45 members of the Executive Committee will also be elected.
