Czech Prime Minister arrives in Kenya for State visit

NAIROBI, Nov 6 (NNN-KBC) — Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala is in Kenya for a three-day official visit.

Fiala jetted into Kenya Sunday night and was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia  Mudavadi.

The Czech Premier will hold discussions with senior government officials and industry leaders ahead of his official reception at Statehouse, Nairobi by President William Ruto on Tuesday.

The visit aims to strengthen cooperation, collaboration, and partnership between Kenya and the Czech Republic across various sectors.

Several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed between the two nations during his visit.

”A highlight of his visit will be the bilateral talks with President William Ruto at Statehouse, Nairobi. This visit underscores Kenya’s strong commitment to expanding and strengthening strategic partnerships with like-minded allies across the globe” Mudavadi said.

Fiala’s visit comes just two days after the British royal couple King Charles III and queen left Kenya after a four-day State visit.

Charles and Camilla’s royal tour last week was the first to a Commonwealth country.
