Kanpur: Chandrasekhar Azad Agricultural University saw another sight of fight among the senior and junior students on Tuesday evening. The senior students along with outsiders created ruckus.
Reaching at the Tilak Hostel they created all the din. They not only beat the students but also tried to damage the hostel room' s door. At about 4.30 pm on Tuesday unidentified outsiders along with nearly three senior students reached the hostel and started abusing other students.
That dreaded students got chance to seek refuge at Patel Hostel. When there was intensifying the noise a few students of B. Sc. III year came out and there ensued arguments. Afterwards senior students along with some outsiders entered into the hostel. The victim student anyhow reached the CSA police chowki and informed the Chowki-incharge about the matter.
The police later drived them off. This action encouraged hostellers to unite against the anti-socials. In the meantime the senior students along with the outsiders fled away.
Prof DR Singh, Naushad Kahan, Manvendra Singh, Anil Singh, & Sarvesh Kumar reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
Prof Singh said there was attempt to trace the senior students and outsiders involved into the incident. He was reported to have engaged in reprimanding the security officer for free entry of outsiders.
