KANPUR: Insanitation is not tolerable to anyone. If the state’s chief minister pinpoints at the flaw, it becomes vital to correct the municipal employees' mistake. Upon such a filthy sight the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s anger was bound to escalate. What he saw on the road near Harjinder Nagar during the passing fleet of President of India on Monday, he could not control his anger. The repercussion was certain to come and the Municipal Commissioner ordered the suspension of four employees in this matter.
In a thorough inquiry, the responsible employees were found guilty of negligence in duty. Those who have been suspended with immediate effect are namely Mewa Lal, safai Nayak (Zone II) and Shyam Lal, safai worker. Further, the state government has been approached for suspension of Brijesh Singh, a sanitary inspector and Neeraj Kumar, zonal swachchta officer.
Giving this information the Municipal Commissioner SK Sharma said that the employees found responsible for negligent stance in the removal of the wastes piled on the spot in Harijinder nagar area have been put under suspension.
In the meantime, detailed information has been in regard to the fogging hand-held machines and about the employees bringing its use. The department concerned has no proper data. It was not unclear that enough fund was allocated for fogging.
