In this regard, a raid was executed by the Department team that seized a factory in the Yashoda Nagar area here.
The factory owner and his son were arrested by the Naubasta police.
The investigation team seized as many as 20 quintals of fake Kashmiri chilly powder, acetic and monosodium glutamate worth Rs one lakh.
The factory was making fake powder of Kashmiri chilly by grinding paddy chaff and artificial colour under the appealing packaging, as was reported.
