KANPUR: On a simple issue of money transaction at a country-made liquor shop in Maharajpur Town the salesman bludgeoned a drunken man. The relatives created clamour at the shop. However, the police inspector pacified them after assuring of strict action in this regard.
According to reports, there runs a liquor shop at Tilshahri Khurd village in Maharajpur. It is owned by Ruchi wife of Ranvijay. Her brother Anand is a salesman at the shop. A 24-year-old Shamim of the same village reached the shop where he entangled into arguments with Anand over a money matter.
It resulted in rebuking and soon they got entangled into the physical level. In a fit of anger, Shamim threw a piece of egg on his forehead. This infuriated the salesman and he beat him so severely as he died.
