KANPUR: Strangely enough, there were rains in the afternoon on one area of Jajmau while another area remained completely dry today.
When the residents of the Nai Chungi area were apprised of the rains occurring at KDA Colony locality, they looked surprised at this very authentic information. One lady learnt of rains on mobile and she could not believe at it. "How would this be possible?" She thought to herself.
Though there were seen a few drops of rain at the Nai Chungi location, it stopped sooner. The rains that happened around KDA Colony was not for a short period. It continued for a little longer time. The roads were wholly drenched and the rainwater was collected at different places. The dirty water was flowing on the road. People took shelter at the hiding places here and there. However, none faced problem in igniting the bike, scooty or the cars that started running on the wet road the moment the rains stopped.
