Varansi: A dog was seen walking near BHU Hospital with the head of a new born baby. Hospital security staff looked for the remaining body, but could not find it.
According to Amar Ujala, family members of the patients saw the dog outside BHU’s Sundar Lal Hospital and screamed. Security staff chased the dog. Dog dropped the head and ran away.
Police arrived on scene, took control of the severed head, and sent it for post mortem.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Prof Vijay Nath Mishra, informed the reporters that the remaining body of the baby or the kin could not be located.
