India: NN told to remove dairy stalls from city areas

Kanpur: Taking stern step against the dairy stalls functioning in the city's various areas, the Kanpur Municipal Corporation in compliance with the CM's order has asked the help of the DM and the SSP for providing one Magistrate and one company PAC in removal of the menace. The Nagar Ayukt in his request has urged that the police and the magistrate will be required for three months. 

In his meeting held at Lucknow on June 3, this year the Chief Minister has directed the municipal commissioner to remove the dairies from the city's side. 

The Urban Development minister Suresh Khanna has also given similar order. 

The scattered dungs not only created problem to easy flow of the traffic but also hinders fast flow of the sewer lines. 

The Livestock officer has directed as many as 2500 dairy stall owners through an advertisement that they should remove their stalls by July 25 in any case. 

The Kanpur Development Authority has developed a total of 152 plots for sheds in Bingawan cattle colony.
