MIRPUR (AJK): Jul 25 (APP): Azad Jammu Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan said on Saturday that after the revocation of Articles 35-A and 370 on August 5, 2019, any semblance of autonomy enjoyed by the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK) has been done away.

Furthermore, he said that Indian government’s proposed amendment to the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act would give the occupation forces full authority to declare any part of IOJK as a “strategic area”, allowing them to “legitimise” land grab within the disputed territory.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP): President Dr. Arif Alvi on Thursday said India was trying to create troubles in implementation of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and mentioned that its belligerent attitude was posing threat to regional peace and stability.

The president expressed these views while talking to Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The President said Pakistan highly valued its relationship with China which always stood by it in difficult times.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP): Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood and Planning Minister Asad Umar met here Tuesday and held in-depth consultations on highlighting the ongoing worst human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

The ministers discussed importance of drawing the world’s attention towards the curfew imposed in IOJK since last August 5 – the day India revoked special status of Kashmir.

The ministers also exchanged views on the current situation of coronavirus in the country.

KARACHI, Pakistan (Reuters) - Wearing face masks and gloves, Pakistani vaccinators on Monday resumed an anti-polio drive that had been halted since March due to the coronavirus outbreak, seeking to reach at least 800,000 children in five days.

The disruption of the drive has raised fears of a spike in polio cases in Pakistan, which, along with neighbouring Afghanistan is just one of two countries in the world where the disease remains endemic, officials said.

New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) India on Thursday said it has strongly protested with Pakistan against the construction of the Diamer-Bhasha dam in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and condemned Islamabad's continuous attempts to bring about material changes in Indian territories under its illegal occupation.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 16 (APP): Pakistan has provided second consular access to Indian spy Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav at the Indian request, the Foreign Office confirmed on Thursday.

“Two consular officers of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad were provided unimpeded and uninterrupted consular access to Commander Jadhav at 1500 hours,” a Foreign Office statement said issued here.

The Foreign Office said Pakistan remained committed to fully implementing the International Court of Justice (ICJ)’s judgment of July 17, 2019.
