India: One dies by intake of dry pasta in breakfast at Kanpur's Haniya village

Kanpur: A stir erupts here when the condition of two real brothers began to be deteriorated after eating macaroni.

One brother is reported to have died, while the condition of the elder brother remains critical. There was chaos in the village.

There was a pall of gloom pervading over the bereaved family. The names of the brothers are Mohit and Rohit.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body for a post-mortem.

The incident occurred at the Haniya village of Maharajpur police station area.

It is being told that the mother prepared macaroni for breakfast.

After intake of the dry pasta the health of both the sons deteriorated. They were immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment.

The younger son Mohit died during the treatment, while elder brother Rohit's condition remained critical.

The forensic team has taken possession of the macaroni sample and sent it for the examination. Macaroni is dry pasta shaped like narrow tubes. Made with durum wheat, it is commonly cut in short lengths.

According to the doctor, the matter seems to be food poisoning, a young man is being treated. The police investigation is underway.
