CAIRO, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian and U.S. naval forces have conducted a joint drill within the range of Southern Fleet in the Red Sea, the armed forces said in a statement on Monday.
The activities took place with the participation of the Egyptian frigate "Alexandria" and the U.S. amphibious ship USS Portland, it said.
